毎年恒例、海外大手メディア29社が参加して今年のE3におけるベストを選出する「Game Critics Awards」の“Best of E3 2014” 15部門の受賞作品が本日発表されました。
兵士だけではなくモンスター側でもプレイ可能な『Evolve（エボルブ）』がベスト・オブ・ショウを含む4部門での最多受賞、そして、PS4向けに開発されている海底から宇宙まで探索できるインタラクティブなアドベンチャー、『No Man's Sky（ノーマンズスカイ）』がそれに続く3部門の受賞する結果となっています。

昨年のE3 2013では『Titanfall（タイタンフォール）』がベスト・オブ・ショウを含む6部門を受賞、Xbox One本体の売り上げを牽引するヒット作となりましたが、今年は『Evolve』と『No Man's Sky』が台風の目となるのでしょうか。
これら以外にも、惜しくも受賞は逃したもののノミネートはされた『Alien: Isolation』、『Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare』、『Battlefield: Hardline』、『Destiny』、『Far Cry 4』 などの多くの期待作がリリース予定で、2014年はゲーマーにとって忙しい年となりそうです。
